| Sunday 12th September | A trip to the Essex Country Show at Barleylands, near Billericay. Attractions include Steam Engines, working horses, steam fair rides, craft demonstrations, sheep shearing, vintage cars and much more besides.

| Wednesday 13th October | Charleston and Newhaven Fort.
The first stop on this trip is Charleston Farmhouse, near Lewes, Sussex, . This has been decorated in a manner evocative of the 'Bloomsbury days'. After a lunch stop in nearby Berwick the tour proceeds on to Newhaven Fort, once part of the British coastal defences, and now a military museum. The cost is £32.50 for members. | Wednesday 10th November | A Tour of the 2012 Olympic Site.
This tour picks up a blue Badge guide at the Tower of London and proceeds into East London, via the Mile End Road. A description of the process of securing the Olympic bid will be given whilst travelling to the site before viewing the progress made to date in the construction of the site. Lunch will be taken in nearby Greenwich where there are many cafes. The cost is £14.50 for members. 'Contact us' if you would like an application form. |

THEATRE VISIT DETAILS | |

| Thursday 23rd September | A matinee performance of 'The Talented Mr Ripley' at the Royal and Derngate Theatre, Northampton. The show starts at 2.30, and the coach will leave from St John's church, Baker Street at 9.00am. We will have a guide in Northampton, who will point out the places of interest in the town as we drive around, before we go to the theatre. The coach should return to Potters Bar at about 6.30pm.

| Wednesday 20th October | A matinee performance of 'The Habit of Art', a play by Alan Bennett, at the Milton Keynes Theatre. The show starts at 2.30, and the coach will leave from St John's church, Baker Street at 9.30am. This will allow plenty of time for shopping and lunch before the show. Price is £25 for members. Anticipated return time is 6pm.

| Sunday 21st November | An evening performance, at The Royal Albert Hall, of everyones favourite classical music, with a choir, laser light show and fireworks. Not to be missed! Tickets are £24 per member, and include coach travel to the venue, gratuities, etc.
